According to the latest Associated Press
and Politics Daily reports, Senator John McCain’s wife Cindy, and their daughter Meghan, are both supporters
and campaigners for gay marriage. Cindy McCain has posed for ads wearing duck tape across her mouth and the letters
and number “NOH8” written on her cheek to symbolize “No Proposition 8,” an anti-Proposition 8 slogan carried by pro-gay marriage supporters and gay activists.
Senator McCain opposed gay marriage in his
campaign for the White House, never giving any clue to his wife’s stance, or how she might have acted as a
First Lady. McCain signed Arizona Proposition 102 banning gay marriage in his home state, saying he still “believes
the sanctity of marriage is only defined as between one man and one woman,” but says he understands his wife’s
stance on gay marriage.
Imagine having a First Lady with “NOH8” stamped on her duck-taped face plastered
all over the country.
According to Cindy McCain and NOH8, she believes party affiliation does not matter when
it comes to beliefs. Being a Republican does not make a difference in what campaign you participate in. McCain
and NOH8 say “marriage equality isn’t a Republican issue any more than it is a Democrat issue.”
Mrs. McCain is completely off base and wrong: traditional marriage is a Republican belief and party policy Republicans
fight for and by. It is Democrats who made abortion and gay marriage their platform and helped destroy the
family as much as the unborn while supporting every immoral sexual-life-style. But for one to hold Christian, conservative
Republican beliefs and positions is considered and deemed hateful toward gays.
Of course the “H”
before the “8” makes the slogan appear to say No Hate, insinuating that anyone opposing gay marriage hates
gays. Those who oppose gay marriage do not hate gays; those who support Proposition 8 support traditional
marriages and families and do not want to see the breakdown of such in America.
Gay marriage institutes a
marriage life-style that cannot produce children, nor can it rear adopted children in a home with a mother and father
they way God instituted marriage. But isn’t that the liberal idea behind the gay marriage fallacy: destroy
traditional marriage and family so we no longer have children and we have planet population control?
To support
gay marriage is to support the eradication of the family, to prevent children from being born to real families rather
than self-centered sexual life-styles demanding to push itself upon society.
Saying no to gay marriage is
not stripping away homosexual rights any more than saying no to couples living together outside of marriage and out-of-wedlock
pregnancy. Both break down and destroy the traditional family, leaving children floundering in a world without
hope and morals. Both leave children without married mothers and fathers to look up to and emulate. And both
life-styles can destroy children’s mental facilities despite sociological arguments gays love to use: it’s
far better for children to be adopted by loving gay couples than to see them placed in foster homes or adopted by
abusive people. That argument has brainwashed too many Americans into becoming complacent to gay marriage and gay adoption and places children under confusing circumstances that will no doubt have an effect on how children view sex—it
can be with anyone, in any way, one desires if it makes you feel good.
Mrs. McCain’s supporting of gay
marriage is supporting the destruction of traditional childhood, because gays insist upon adopting children.
To say orphans are better off adopted by “loving gay couples” than “abusive straight couples”
or “placed in foster homes” is a lie. Not all America households are abusive. Many foster homes
have been loving refuges for children.
And we wonder why so many teenagers are emotionally dysfunctional?
Gays further insist that children raised by same sex couples do not become gay. Gay parents do not make
children gay. Where is the proof that children are not impacted by what they see in the home? How can anyone say children are not affected by their parent’s actions, beliefs, and life-style, and who can say a child raised
by gay parents would never become sexually confused, thinking it perfectly fine to experiment with both heterosexual
and homosexual life-styles?
And who is to say those children will not buck the tradition and say no to traditional
marriage, furthering the breakdown of traditional marriage?
Despite sociological studies over the years, claiming
there is no difference between heterosexual and homosexual couples raising children, Dr. Timothy J. Dailey, PhD
exposed the fallacy in an article for Orthodoxy Today title “Homosexual Parenting: Placing Children at risk,”
proving, through the words of sociologists, who made the claims gay marriage and gay adoption is as wholesome as
heterosexual parent households, that their studies are flawed and there is no proof children fare as well in gay households. http://www.orthodoxytoday.org/articles/DaileyGayAdopt.phpTraditional families, traditional marriage, does not expose children to sexual life-styles;
traditional parents keep their bedroom doors shut—in and out of the bedroom, not allowing children to know what
mommy and daddy do. Gay couples are open about their sexuality, even when bedroom doors are shut, telling
their children they are gay, allowing their children to know what the bedroom choice in the home is.
The bedroom
door may not be open Mrs. McCain, but gay marriage and unions are very open, publically declaring their life-style, which
you, Mrs. McCain support. In supporting gay marriage, you Mrs. McCain support gay adoption which, according
to Dr. Dailey, has been falsified as wholesome when it is not. http://www.orthodoxytoday.org/articles/DaileyGayAdopt.phpNOH8 is just another attempt to demonize people who want marriage between a man and woman
only and do not want children raised in homes with parents who are same sex couples.
Mrs. McCain’s involvement
in NOH8 makes Republicans appear to be nothing but a bunch of homophobic racists who hate anyone disagreeing with their traditional views. The opposite is true: Republicans and conservatives against gay marriage do not hate gays;
conservatives want to preserve traditional marriage and make home-life emotionally safe and loving for children.
But then again, traditional marriage and family can’t mean anything to a woman who stole another woman’s
husband.
