The Social Security crisis is enough to just boggle the mind
of the average American citizen. It's really quite amazing just how much audacity past and the present congress's
of the United States have. They get up on their soapboxes and tell us how Reagan and Tip O'Neil reached a bi partisan
deal to save Social Security decades ago. They tell us how Social Security is going to run out of money if we don't make
drastic changes to it. What they don't tell us is that they are the ones who have put Social Security almost into bankruptcy.
Here are the facts. Every year hard working American tax payers pay into Social Security many times over what the
Social Security Administration is required to pay out to our seniors. Congress takes a longing look at the money that is left
over and then snatches it away from the Social Security Administration to fund their pork barrel spending projects. You know,
the ones that ensure money for their re-election campaign continues to roll in.
They graciously
leave an IOU in place of the money they've basically stolen and then wasted for their own benefit. Now they want to tell
us that the IOU's they left us weren't worth as much as the money they wasted so we need drastic changes in the Social
Security system. Like raising the Social Security Tax and reducing future benefits. If Congress had left our money alone to
begin with there would have been plenty of money in the system for the future and probably would have enable benefit increases.
Here's the TAB drastic change for Congress.
Leave our Social Security money alone and quit shifting it to the general revenue account.
Set up a plan to repay every dime Congress has stolen from the American people. Name the plan "The
Congressional Restitution Plan To Replace Social Security Funds."
