Take America Back.org was first published on April 25, 2009 in an effort to give Americans a means to influence their government at a critical time.  Major elections for Congress and the Senate will occur in 2010.  This gives Americans the opportunity to influence legislators.  To force them to make changes the country is in dire need of.  Or face being replaced by someone who will.  

     Take America Back.org was founded out of a sense of frustration with the actions of the federal government. Actions which are resulting in this nation being run into the ground. The issues destroying this country are more than apparent to the American people.

     Americans are discussing what is wrong with this country at water coolers, at work and at kitchen tables.  These discussions almost always end with someone making the helpless statement, “ There is nothing any one person can do!”

    
     This is the reality that most of us find most frustrating. The country is slipping away do to bad decisions made in Washington.  Most Americans feel there is nothing any one of us can do about it.  We cannot depend on the Congress or the Senate to save our country. They’ve sold out to special interest and to self interest. That’s how this nation came to this point to begin with.

    
     “We The People” together are the only ones who can save this nation, but time is running out.  Fixing our nation is not a Democrat issue, a Republican issue, or an independent issue. It is “us” as a peoples issue!  We must put our smaller differences aside and join together in sending a common message to Washington.

    
     People of all parties, who love America, must recognize that people from the other parties also love America.  We must join hands in unity out of a common concern for our country.  We must face the reality that we all have a stake in what is happening to this nation.  We are one country, one people, one voice!

     If you love your country.  If you are concerned for your own and your family’s future.  We plead with you to join Take America Back and add your voice to ours.  We have composed a letter demanding that Congress, the Senate, and government administrators take specific action on the major crisis’s this country is facing.  It also insists on specific changes in the way our government operates.  These demands will not create a perfect utopia, but they will go a long way in turning the country around.
